Most modern CAT tools have an online editor that can be used in any web browser. This method can come with a few drawbacks, like a stripped interface or fewer available functions in the editor compared to the desktop version.

But, this method also allows people to work on projects from any browser they have. This is especially useful when your translator has a Mac and not a Windows OS (which effectively prevents them from using any desktop CAT tool), or when your translator simply doesn’t own a license for that particular tool.

Keep this in mind if you struggle to find available translators for your project.
